Cookie Policy
Last updated: September 13, 2026
This page explains which cookies we use, what they are for, how long they last, and how you can change your choice at any time. It complements our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle personal data as a whole.
In short: no analytics cookie is loaded on this site until you accept it, we never use advertising cookies, and no clinical or patient data is collected here.
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file a website stores on your device to remember something between one visit and the next: which language you prefer to read in, or how you answered a notice like the one on this site. We also use other forms of browser storage that work in a similar way; we hold them to the same rules and include them in everything described here.
2. Your choice
Analytics cookies are not loaded until you accept them. The first time you open the site you will see a notice with two options of the same size, one click each, "Accept" and "Reject". Until you choose, nothing is sent to anyone.
If you reject: no analytics cookie is loaded and no browsing data is stored. The site works exactly the same, and we do not ask again on every visit.
If you accept and later change your mind: the withdrawal takes effect immediately, not on the next page you visit. We stop collecting data at that moment and delete any analytics cookies already stored on your device.
How to change it: use the "Cookie preferences" link at the bottom of any page, or the button at the top of this one.
Your choice is stored only in the browser you are using, so on another device we will ask again. If we ever materially change the categories we ask about, we will also ask again.
3. What cookies we use on this site
Essential. They remember your answer to this notice so we do not ask again on every page. They require no consent, because without them we could not honour the choice you made, and they remain until you clear the site's data.
Analytics — only if you accept them. They let us understand in aggregate how the site is browsed: which pages are visited, from which approximate country or city, on what kind of device, and which site you arrived from. They use pseudonymous identifiers and do not collect your name or your email address. The measurement is carried out by a third-party web analytics provider, engaged for that purpose only and with advertising features turned off; the data is processed on servers located in the United States, and these cookies expire after two years at most. If you would like to know which provider it is, write to us and we will tell you.
We use no advertising, remarketing or profiling cookies, we do not share your browsing data with data brokers, and we do not track your activity across other websites.
4. The clinical platform
The platform where doctors work with patient information is a separate site from this one, and it has never used third-party analytics. That is why you will not see a cookie notice there: the only things stored in your browser are strictly necessary for the platform to work, and they never leave our own infrastructure.
No cookie holds clinical information or patient identifiers. Health data is never stored in the browser through cookies.
5. Control from your browser
Independently of the above, your browser lets you block or delete cookies from any site, usually under privacy or site-data settings. The most direct route, though, is this site’s own notice: if you reject, nothing is loaded.
Note that blocking all cookies will stop the clinical platform from keeping you signed in, and clearing this site's data will make us ask for your preferences again.
6. Changes and contact
If we add a new cookie or change what an existing one is for, we will update this page and the date shown at the top. When the change affects the categories we ask permission for, we will show you the notice again so you can decide afresh.
If you have questions about this policy or about how we handle your data, write to us at soporte@doctorescribe.com. We answer privacy enquiries within 5 business days.
